The building featured impressive brick Gothic architecture and a cool design with nods to its past as a school. The room was well decorated, clean, and newly renovated, offering a comfortable bed and great bathroom. Breakfast included a fresh variety with cereals, granola, yoghurt, breads, croissants, meat, cheese, salmon, and pancakes. Free parking was available nearby—a rare convenience in Hamburg. The location was residential but close to supermarkets and just five minutes’ walk from the train station into the city center.
